The New York Yankees are \"considering\" a run at free agent starter Blake Snell, according to a report.
New York was in on right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who ultimately signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
There has been speculation that Snell prefers playing on the West Coast, closer to his native Washington state.
