Sean Manaea became the latest pitcher to join the revamped rotation of the New York Mets, agreeing to a two-year, $28 million contract, according to multiple reports.

A 31-year-old left-hander, Manaea gets $14.5 million this year and $13.5 million in 2025. He has the right to opt out of the deal after the 2024 season.

The New York Post first reported the news of Manaea\'s agreement.

Still need a good DH and an 8th inning arm out of the BP. Please bring Dave Robertson back on a 3-year deal (year 3 could be a vesting option).

I doubt the Mets sign either of Montgomery or Imanaga. They'll wait for next winter to make their big splash.
