Mets, Jake Diekman Nearing Contract Agreement

The New York Mets are nearing a contract agreement with left-hander Jake Diekman, according to a report.
It is presumably a one-year deal for the 37-year-old reliever.
Diekman had a 3.34 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 56 2/3 innings for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2023.
