Las Vegas Mayor Says A\'s Should Pitch New Plan To Bay Area

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 6, 2024 9:30 pm

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman isn\'t exactly extending a warm embrace to the Oakland Athletics, who plan to build a $1.5 billion stadium in her city.

In fact, Goodman said the team\'s stadium plan \"does not make sense\" and that A\'s ownership should go back to the drawing board and pitch a new plan in the Bay Area.

\"I personally think [the A\'s have] got to figure out a way to stay in Oakland to make their dream come true,\" Goodman told the Front Office Sports Today podcast, which was released Tuesday.

1 of those things I hate in sports so much. The teams who should stay move, & the ones who nobody cares about & should move/be contracted stays  But to be honest....im ok with the team staying if MLB forces the owner to sell, maybe to the warriors owner & he pays for the new stadium that designers have for the no-cal team. That or they move to sacramento, they'll still be a no-cal team. And for the love of god, they should be forced to change those plain jane dodger like uniforms. It can be the 70's look, enough of the tired cursive writing look. Only 5 teams in all sports look good like that. Royals, Orioles, Twins, Braves, & Dodgers. Everyone should change. And hopefully the warriors owner makes them a winner & stop their being everyone's aaa farm team.
