Reigning National League MVP Ronald Acuna Jr. was scratched from the Atlanta Braves\' lineup Friday because of right knee soreness.

The Braves said Acuna was sent for further evaluation on the knee and they expect to have an update on his status Saturday.

\"I don\'t think it will be anything,\" manager Brian Snitker told reporters, according to MLB.com.

why players should not be playing in the offseason. . Its not that hard you get paid enough now. It isnt the day of babe ruth were they have to get side jobs to survive. No baseball should just not be staying fit too with these contracts every team has tons of players always hurt in spring training come on now its only baseball half the time your just waiting around
