The San Diego Padres are showing interest in a trade for Chicago White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet, according to a report.
No deal is imminent, but the Padres have been the most aggressive club in pursuit of Crochet.
Crochet, 24, has a 3.49 ERA and 93 strikeouts in 69 2/3 innings (13 starts) pitched this season.
