Corbin Carroll left the Arizona Diamondbacks\' 12-5 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday with discomfort in his left side.
Carroll departed in the seventh inning after making an awkward throw from center field.
He is scheduled for an MRI on Monday but said he was feeling better after the game. He will remain in Phoenix as the team travels to Washington ahead of a three-game series against the Nationals starting Tuesday.
\"Went to throw and just felt a pull feeling, not super painful, very general,\" Carroll said. \"But all indications are leaning to the positive. I hope to be out there for the Washington series.\"
