Yankees Among Teams Interested In Garrett Crochet

The New York Yankees are among the teams interested in a trade for Garrett Crochet, according to a report.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres have also been linked to the Chicago White Sox ace.
Crochet, 25, has a 3.08 ERA and 146 strikeouts over 105 1/3 innings. However, the starter-turned-reliever has never pitched more than 54 1/3 innings in a season. It remains to be seen how many more innings he can provide in 2024.
As much as the Yankees like Crochet, they seem unwilling to part with prospect Spencer Jones. They wouldn\'t part with Jones in talks with the White Sox for Dylan Cease earlier this year either.
