The St. Louis Cardinals have \"strong interest\" in Chicago White Sox right-hander Erick Fedde, according to a report.
Fedde is among a number of controllable players the White Sox have made available this month.
A former first-round pick, Fedde was once a consensus top-100 prospect. After six seasons with the Washington Nationals and a year in Korea, Fedde has a 2.99 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 111 1/3 innings for Chicago this season.
