The Colorado Rockies appear unlikely to extend Cal Quantrill, according to a report.
Quantrill\'s first season with the Rockies has gone well. The right-hander has a 4.09 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 114 1/3 innings this season.
Colorado has received some calls on Quantrill ahead of the trade deadline.
Quantrill, 29, was a first-round pick by the San Diego Padres back in 2016.
