Reds To Promote Rhett Lowder For Friday Start

The Cincinnati Reds will promote right-hander Rhett Lowder to start on Friday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Reds and Brewers will play a doubleheader and Lowder will start the nightcap.
Lowder, 22, was the seventh overall pick in 2023 out of Wake Forest. He has split the season across three levels, amassing a 3.64 ERA and a 4.71 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 108 innings.
