The Chicago White Sox are \"getting closer\" to filling their managerial vacancy.
According to a report, Los Angeles Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough and San Diego Padres special assistant A.J. Ellis are no longer in the running for the job.
The pair join Texas Rangers bench coach and offensive coordinator Donnie Ecker on the list of candidates who are no longer in the running for the position.
