Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Daniel Hudson announced his retirement just moments after the club won the World Series on Wednesday night.
Hudson is a veteran of 15 Major League seasons.
\"This was the only reason I came back -- to go out on top,\" he said. \"And that\'s what\'s happening.\"
Hudson, 37, didn\'t appear in the deciding Game 5 despite warming up. He was on the mound when the Washington Nationals won the 2019 World Series.
