The Toronto Blue Jays are coming off a last-place finish in the American League East, but they have no plans to rebuild.
The Blue Jays traded away only rental players at this past summer\'s deadline and general manager Ross Atkins is shooting down the possibility of a Bo Bichette trade.
Asked by Jon Morosi of the MLB Network how he\'d respond to inquiries from other teams on Bichette, Atkins replied that it\'d be \"an easy no\" on the Blue Jays\' end.
Bichette is entering the final year of his contract, in which he\'ll make $16.5 million. His trade value might be at an all-time low coming off a season in which he hit just .225/.277/.322 over 336 plate appearances.
He had three injured list stints and underwent postseason surgery to address a fractured right middle finger.
