Report: Mets Offer $660M To Juan Soto

Juan Soto, the prize of this winter\'s free agent class, has met with three teams to this point.

Soto has reportedly met with the Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets.

\"According to former MLB player Carlos Baerga,\" MLB insider Hector Gomez posted on X, \"the Mets\' initial offer to Juan Soto [Saturday] in LA was $660 million.\"

The offer is the first reported as the offseason progresses. Initially, Soto was expected to land a deal between $500 million and $600 million.

I heard he was looking for $700m. My hopes are that Soto takes the offer. Then the Mets can work on getting Pete a deal and signing a pitcher.

And are they going to defer it til 2048? Its out of control now, this guy doesn't play two positions.

IF Aaron Judge is getting 40M per year. Would you pay Soto 46?
