The Boston Red Sox are serious about their pursuit of Juan Soto in free agency.
The Red Sox \"are increasingly seen as a legitimate contender in the sweepstakes for the generational slugger as word is they are stepping up efforts to lure the superstar hitter away from their historic AL East nemesis,\" according to a report in the New York Post.
Boston is one of five clubs that have made a contract offer to Soto.
