Teams Have Inquired With Twins About Carlos Correa
Some teams have inquired with the Minnesota Twins about the availability of Carlos Correa, according to a report.
There has been no indication that those inquires have been more than a preliminary phone call.
\"Obviously, you expect teams to call on players like that, especially with where we are and some of the conversations we\'re having with other clubs,\" president of baseball operations Derek Falvey said of Correa. \"But we want to win, so a high bar is set.\"
The Twins are facing tight payroll restrictions this offseason after they narrowly missed out on the playoffs. They reportedly have a $130 million budget with a payroll projected at around $142 million.
