The San Francisco Giants and Toronto Blue Jays are currently viewed as the favorites to land Corbin Burnes in free agency.
The Blue Jays have shown a willingness to spend money with big offers to Juan Soto and Shohei Ohtani in consecutive offseasons.
The Giants made a splash when they signed Willy Adames last week, but they are looking to replace Blake Snell, who left for the Los Angeles Dodgers in free agency.
Burnes is expected to exceed the $218 million deal that Max Fried received from the New York Yankees.
