A\'s, Brent Rooker Agree To Five-Year, $60M Extension

Slugger Brent Rooker and the Oakland Athletics are in agreement on a five-year, $60 million contract extension, sources told ESPN\'s Jeff Passan on Monday night.
The deal includes a sixth-year vesting option at $22 million that can escalate.
Rooker\'s extension will pay him $30 million over the first three seasons, which would\'ve been his arbitration years.
