Brewers Hire Billy Eppler As Special Advisor

Billy Eppler has been hired by the Milwaukee Brewers as a special advisor within the front office. This is Eppler’s first job in a Major League Baseball front office since the league suspended him in February 2024 for improper use of the injured list, including the “deliberate fabrication of injuries.” Eppler’s suspension ended after the 2024 World Series.
Before serving as the Mets’ GM, Eppler worked as GM of the Los Angeles Angels from 2015 to 2020 and as assistant GM and director of pro scouting for the New York Yankees from 2005 to 2015.
