Guardians Place Austin Hedges On IL After Fifth Concussion

Guardians catcher Austin Hedges has been placed on the seven-day concussion list, retroactive to Wednesday.
Manager Stephen Vogt said before Friday\'s game against the Houston Astros that Hedges was struck on a backswing from the New York Yankees\' Jazz Chisholm Jr. during the ninth inning of Wednesday\'s game.
It is the fifth concussion of Hedges\' career.
