Mets Hopeful Juan Soto Still Makes NL All-Star Team

The New York Mets consider Juan Soto to be a bona fide All-Star, despite the snub he received from those who selected the National League squad for the Midsummer Classic on July 15.

Soto, in his first year with the Mets, has performed well enough to earn the respect of his manager and teammates. In their opinion, he\'s deserving of a place in the All-Star Game next week in Atlanta.

Mets look foolish here. While Soto will eventually find his form, there is something "off" about him in Queens. I can't see him being with the team for the duration of his contract.

Winning will cure all ailments, but there's been zero honeymoon since this union has begun.
