A.J. Brown Explains Frustration With Eagles\' Offense After Viral Video

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Nov 13, 2025 12:15 pm

A.J. Brown addressed viral video comments calling the Philadelphia Eagles\' situation \"a s---show,\" clarifying his frustration stems from the team\'s offensive struggles rather than personal statistics. Brown spoke to media Wednesday after video surfaced of him discussing his discontent during a \"Madden\" gaming session with streamer JankyRondo. The reigning Super Bowl champions rank 25th in passing yards and 27th in third-down conversion rate.

Brown emphasized his concerns extend beyond individual production following Monday\'s 10-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers, where he caught two passes for 13 yards.

\"It\'s not just solely about my situation. I want to win, too,\" Brown said. \"I think if we\'re really focused on winning and doing our job, we can\'t just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense?\"

Brown refused to apologize for his comments in the video, stating he was attempting to cope with the situation.

\"I\'m not apologizing for that. Because if you have eyes, you can see that,\" Brown said. \"It\'s not that I was throwing anybody under the bus. I\'m literally trying to laugh through this s---. This s--- is tough. But I\'m trying to make fun of the situation to try to get through it.\"

The Eagles\' offense has underperformed despite a 7-2 record. Philadelphia averages 191.7 passing yards per game and has gone three-and-out on 41% of drives. Brown has 31 catches for 408 yards through eight games, putting him on pace for a career-low 867 receiving yards.

\"Last year is what it was, thank you for the ring, but it\'s a new season,\" Brown said. \"They adapted, we have to adapt, and we have to continue to get better and find new ways. That\'s where the frustration comes in.\"

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni dismissed concerns about Brown becoming a distraction. \"You can only go from your interactions with everybody and the way they go about their work on a daily basis,\" Sirianni said. \"But no, it\'s business as usual.\"

Quarterback Jalen Hurts declined to discuss Brown\'s comments further, redirecting focus to Sunday\'s matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Brown has been in trade rumors throughout the season as his frustrations with the Eagles\' offense have been a constant theme.

They have a ton of offensive talent.

Sirianni does not keep a tight room for some reason.

Losing offensive coordinators every year really hurts.

Hurts takes too long to read defenses.

And there's some advanced stats that say Brown is not getting separation like he used to.

Also, the offensive line has been banged up.

Add it all up and you get a mostly s***** offense that has the capacity to explode.
