The Tennessee Titans lead five teams with at least a 5% chance of securing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, according to ESPN\'s Football Power Index projections released after Week 10.
ESPN\'s analysis examined each team\'s remaining schedule, quarterback situations, and positional needs as the race for the top selection takes shape. The Titans currently hold a 36.6% chance at the first pick and an 87.3% chance of landing in the top five.
The Cleveland Browns follow with a 26.9% chance at No. 1, while the New York Jets sit at 13.3%. The New Orleans Saints hold a 9.7% chance, and the Las Vegas Raiders have a 7.0% probability of earning the top selection.
The Titans\' remaining schedule ranks 18th in difficulty after playing the NFL\'s toughest slate through 10 weeks. Tennessee is not favored in any remaining games, though matchups against Cleveland and New Orleans approach coin-flip status.
Landing the No. 1 pick would provide significant value for Tennessee, which does not need a quarterback after selecting Cam Ward. The Titans could either select the best non-quarterback prospect or trade the pick to a QB-needy team for additional draft capital.
\"Having the No. 1 pick and not needing a quarterback is a fantastic position for a team to be in,\" ESPN\'s Dan Graziano wrote.
Cleveland, New York, New Orleans, and Las Vegas all face uncertainty at quarterback. Browns signal-callers have posted a 29.1 Total QBR this season, ranking second-worst in the league.
ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller identified Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza as the top senior passer available. Miami defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. and Ohio State hybrid defender Arvell Reese were highlighted as potential No. 1 picks for teams not targeting quarterbacks.
The Saints possess the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL, which could complicate their draft positioning despite a 2-8 record.
