Chris Johnson lobbied for the Tennessee Titans to improve their roster this offseason and has been pleased with all but one of the moves.
“We’ve been doing pretty good in free agency,” Johnson said. “It looks like we’re getting some good players, and I see they are trying to get the offensive line right. I am pretty happy.”
Johnson, however, was not impressed by the Titans' decision to sign Shonn Greene to a three-year, $10 million deal.
“I have never been a big fan of the two-back system, so I don’t know how we plan on using him,” Johnson said casually. “I’m not afraid of competition, but I was thinking we’d maybe get a draft pick for the other back. And you don’t give a guy that kind of money to be just a goal-line guy and in tough-yardage situations. So we’ll see what happens.”
