Amy Trask's historic 28-year tenure with the Oakland Raiders came to an end recently with her resignation.

Trask was the first CEO of a major North American team sport.

"She was very, very valuable to the organization and very, very valuable to my father," said Mark Davis. "She put in a lot of blood and sweat. I felt she deserved to write her own ending. There was no real organizational chart on the business side. We plan to change that."

Trask was a respected executive but a a feared supervisor, as several employees of the Raiders indicate that her departure has made the working environment less anxious.

Marc Badain has assumed many of her responsibilities while the Raiders search for her successor.
