Doctors have diagnosed six more rib fractures in Drew Brees, bringing the total up to 11. Brees has eight fractures on his left side and three on his right.
Brees\' doctors, however, have been encouraged by his improvement in lung function and the continued dissipation of the pneumothorax suffered last week.
It is not yet clear how much time Brees will miss with the injuries.
