Aaron Rodgers' Yearly Cap Numbers Give Packers' More Flexibility

Aaron Rodgers' new contract with the Green Bay Packers includes a $35 million signing bonus.
Rodgers and the Packers structured the deal in a way to maximize the team's cap flexibility.
Rodgers' cap number year-by-year will be as follows:
2013: $12 million
2014: $17.9 million
2015: $18.6 million
2016: $19.6 million
2017: $20.65 million
2018: $20.9 million
2019: $21.1 million
The deal gives Rodgers $54 million in guaranteed money.
