Rex Ryan Would Be Fine With Patriots Replacing Brady With Tebow

Rex Ryan was asked to respond to the New England Patriots' decision to sign Tim Tebow.

"If they want to replace [Tom] Brady with him," Ryan deadpanned, "that's fine."

Ryan and the New York Jets were unable to use Tebow after sending a third round pick last offseason to the Denver Broncos.

"I'm happy for the young man to get another opportunity in the league," said Ryan. "It didn't work out here. Obviously, he had more success in Denver than he did here. It is what it is."

I won't be surprised, after this, if Belichick comes up with some gadget plays specifically for Tebow to run against the Jets, just to make a point.

Rex is just jealous that Tebow would throw for more yards against the Jets than his QBs would throw for in the game. Wouldn't matter if lady Brady gets hurt or retires, the Jets still sure as hell wouldn't be able to beat them. On a side note, why is this a story? Can't realgm football find some more useful or interesting material than to quote a coach saying he'd rather play a team without their hall of fame QB??
