Devin Hester Could Be Cut By Bears

Devin Hester is no longer entrenched as the Chicago Bears' returner with Earl Bennett and others also fielding kicks.
With a new coaching staff in place, Hester is competing for his job.
Due to Hester's $1.85 million base salary for 2013 and the Bears cap limitations, he could be cut if he doesn't become the explosive returner he was before also being worked into the offense at receiver.

Hope this isn't true. As a Bears fan, I know Devin is worth the money. His speed has been integral to getting us good field position, whether he's touched the ball or not (i.e. punters kicking away from him).

I hope your Gmen are ready for a weak minded player, whom when things aren't going is way; tends to quit and give up. Obviously you don't actually know what kind of player Hester has been recently.
However, I doubt the Bears will cut Hester. I think this is just the new coaching staff letting him know they will not accept anything but his best effort out there. No more half-assing it like he has shown in the recent years.
