The Philadelphia Eagles will retire Donovan McNabb's No. 5 jersey on Sept. 19.
McNabb will become the eighth member of the Eagles to have his number retired.
"Eleven great years," McNabb said of Andy Reid. "We made history, big fella."
Steve Van Buren, Brian Dawkins, Jerome Brown, Reggie White, Al Wistert, Pete Retzlaff and Tom Brookshire also have their number retired by the Eagles.
