Ken Whisenhunt Could Be Strong Candidate For Lions' Job

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Dec 24, 2013 6:18 pm

Ken Whisenhunt could be the next head coach of the Detroit Lions should they fire Jim Schwartz.

Schwartz is widely expected to be fired after another disappointing season.

Whisenhunt was a teammate of general manager Martin Mayhew for two seasons with the Washington Redskins.

The Houston Texans are also interested in Whisenhunt.

Whisenhunt led the Arizona Cardinals to a Super Bowl and is currently the offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers.

They gotta bring somebody good in that can work with Stafford and make him better. Whisenhunt is a good candidate and so is the Niners OC although DET doesn't have a power running attack but I'm sure he could adjust his offense.
