Patrick Willis has been placed on injured reserve by the San Francisco 49ers and will miss the rest of the 2014 season.
Willis had missed the previous three games with a toe injury he suffered on Oct. 13.
Willis will undergo surgery for the injury.
Willis is a seven-time Pro Bowler.
