Brandin Cooks will miss four to six weeks with a broken thumb after undergoing successful surgery.
Cooks has caught 53 balls for 550 yards and three touchdowns, along with seven carries for 73 yards and an additional touchdown.
Cooks was the 20th overall pick by the New Orleans Saints out of Oregon State.
