Jaguars Interested In Trading Down From No. 3

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Feb 20, 2015 6:18 pm

The Jacksonville Jaguars are interested in trading down from the No. 3 spot in the draft.

"We had no margin for error these last two years," David Caldwell said. "I think this year we could be more open."

The 2015 NFL Draft is quarterback-heavy, but the Jaguars believe they have their quarterback of the future in Blake Bortles.

"I would expect some calls," Caldwell said. "But as you guys in the media know, you pick everything apart and some of the quarterbacks may fall just like some of the quarterbacks predicted to go high last year fell to the late first round. So you don't really know what other teams' value is."

Don't have the trade value chart in front of me; but the Eagles would offer #20, LeSean McCoy, and 2016 1st rounder to get #3. Have to imagine that's at least close.

Would be a smart thing to do. Williams would be an amazing pick up but their front 7 wasn't the problem. The Jag's secondary was horrendous and DB's can be picked up in later rounds. Fix their o-line and secondary and they should be a solid team. The Jag's D picked up in the 2nd half of the season
