Buccaneers Decline Fifth-Year Option On Doug Martin

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon May 4, 2015 6:46 pm

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have declined to pick up the fifth-year option on Doug Martin's contract.

Martin will be eligible for free agency in 2016.

Martin, a first-round pick in 2012, rushed for 1,454 yards as a rookie, but he has been limited by injuries the past two seasons.

The Buccaneers drafted Charles Sims at running back in the third round this year.
