Eagles Trade Matt Barkley To Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have acquired Matt Barkley from the Philadelphia Eagles.

The move sets up the possibility of Tim Tebow making the Eagles' final roster.

Tebow had a solid performance for the Eagles in their final preseason game.

I had a feeling Barkley was going to be traded because having Tebow as a third quarterback gives them more skill set diversity, and even the biggest Tebow hater has to admit he showed a good amount of improvement over where he was when we last saw him on the field. I didn't expect it would be the Cardinals that picked up Barkley, but I think, depending on what the price was, that he has upside and it was a good move... especially after what happened to them last season.
