Andrew Luck has denied staying in college an extra season to avoid playing for the Carolina Panthers.

Luck could have declared for the 2011 NFL Draft but decided to remain at Stanford to finish his degree.

"Absolutely not," Luck said of the Colts' Monday night opponent. "And I hope people don't think that."

The Panthers took Cam Newton with the first pick.

Why would Luck avoid Charlotte to go to... Indianapolis???

If Luck was in a big market/advantageous location, then there's a conspiracy theory you can invent. Since Charlotte and Indianapolis are similar markets, trying to invent stories here doesn't work.
