The Baltimore Ravens have signed Trent Richardson.
Richardson and the Ravens first talked in February but the team wanted him to be in better shape before signing him.
Richardson was the third overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and won't turn 26 until July.
The Ravens currently have Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Terrance West and Terrence Magee at running back.
Richardson has played for the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders. He has struggled with injuries and his weight over his three-year career, averaging 3.3 yards per carry.
