Ryan Fitzpatrick Willing To Sit If Jets Don't Increase Offer

Ryan Fitzpatrick has told people he would "rather not play football" than play for the New York Jets at their contract offer, according to a source.

The Jets haven't budged from their initial reported offer of $7 million to $8 million per season.

Fitzgerald, 33, reportedly is seeking twice that amount annually.

Seeing as Fitz is a FA,he can go somewhere else and play for their $7M-$8M. But that wouldn't make sense would it? I guess we'll see who "blinks" first and it most likely won't be the Jets,since if needed they can trade for another QB after seeing if Fitz changes his mind.
