Jay-Z Name-Drops Josh Norman In New Song

Josh Norman, who signed with the Washington Redskins this offseason, was mentioned by Jay-Z in a new release over the weekend.

Jay-Z, who rapped on DJ Khaled's "I Got The Keys," mentions the cornerback around the one-minute mark.

"I been speeding through life with no safety belt.
One-on-one with the corner, with no safety help.
I perform like Josh Norman, I ain’t normal."

A few of Norman's old Carolina Panthers teammates heard the song and ribbed Norman on Twitter.

Yeah good grief jayz. Josh norman is a zone corner. Not only does he have safety help over the top he's also got linebacker help on the inside from kuechly and davis. This isn't reflective of reality for the inner city youth. Unless he's got the inside knowledge on how Washington plans to deploy him next year
