NFL Data Chips Won't Measure PSI In Footballs

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jul 19, 2016 12:02 pm

The NFL plans to use data chips in footballs this summer to provide information that could lead to changes on the field, but measuring the PSI of the balls won't be one of the measurements.

However, according to a source, the technology exists and could be added to the arrangement if the league desires. The addition would be similar to the tool that warns automobile drivers that their tires are underinflated.
