If the Washington Redskins decide to trade Kirk Cousins, he would only accept a move to the San Francisco 49ers.
Wednesday is the deadline for the Redskins to decide whether to place their franchise tag on the quarterback.
Former Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is the new head coach of the 49ers.
Cousins can't outright block a trade to any team, but given the fact that he isn't signed long-term he could keep a club from acquiring by refusing to commit long-term.

He would only sign long-term with the 49ers, very different than only accepting a trade to the 9ers.
Thing is, if Cousins truly wanted to go there, this is a stupid move. It crushes his trade value, lessening the chance that the Redskins deal him. It does however put the Skins in a position where they have to do one of 2 things: franchise him again, or pay him what he thinks he's worth.
But ultimately I call BS that he'd only go to the 9ers. I'm sure if the Broncos or Chiefs came calling, he'd jump all over that. Ditto Buffalo, Houston, or Arizona.. maybe even the Jets, Bears and Browns? Certainly worse spots to go than a Hue Jackson led offense.
