The New Orleans Saints have fired team orthopedists Deryk Jones and Misty Suri after an independent doctor discovered Delvin Breaux had a fractured fibula.
The injury will require surgery and put Breaux out for four to six weeks.
Breaux was originally diagnosed with a contusion.
