Jason Peters: Chargers Are Playing 16 Road Games

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Oct 2, 2017 12:04 pm

The Los Angeles Chargers have played three straight games at the StubHub Center, their temporary home, but have lost all of them.

They are selling well in L.A., but a good chunk of the seats have been filled by opposing fans early this season. On Sunday, there were plenty of Philadelphia Eagles fans in the stands and Carson Wentz never had to use a silent count on offense.

"I mean, it's almost like the Chargers got 16 away games," Eagles tackle Jason Peters told reporters. "It's going to be tough sledding for those guys."

Peters said it felt "like a home game" for the Eagles, who won 26-24.

What did the chargers expect? They pissed off everyone in San Diego. And folks in LA were never really fans of the chargers. Lots of folks in LA like the raiders, who are division rivals with the chargers. The NFL should have forced the chargers owner sell the team on account of not being wealthy enough to make improvements (same with the raiders really too). San Diego and the Bay Area are good football markets that have now been (or will be soon) abandoned.
