Andrew Luck may need to undergo a surgery to relocate the biceps tendon that is attached to his repaired labrum. In the procedure known as a tenodesis, the biceps tendon is reattached by a screw to the humerus, the long bone of the upper arm that connects the shoulder and the elbow.

A determination will be made on that surgery once Luck resumes his throwing regimen. If Luck undergoes the surgery, the recovery time is three to six months.

Luck previously suffered a setback with pain and discomfort once he began throwing the ball again.

Luck has undergone an extended European treatment and rehab.
