Dez Bryant will reject any requests by the Dallas Cowboys to take a pay cut.

Bryant is scheduled to make $12.5 million in 2018 but had a disappointing 2017.

"I haven't heard no talk about that but if it comes, I don't know, probably not," Bryant said Wednesday. "Hell naw, man. I believe in me."

Bryant is set to count $16.5 million against the salary cap. The Cowboys can free up $8.5 million if they release him or $12 million if he is designated as a post-June 1 cut, with him counting $4 million against the cap in 2019.

Jerry Jones didn't want to discuss the future of Bryant on Sunday.

In 2015, Bryant missed seven games with foot and knee injuries. He missed three games last season with a tibial plateau fracture.

Dez Bryant and TY Hilton are the most overrated and overpaid WRs I've ever seen. Both are paid like elite WRs yet not one aspect of either players game qualifies as elite.

I have no opinion either way as to the pay cut nor do I care what Dez said. I'm just simply stating that off the top of my head, Dez is the most overrated and overpaid receiver I can name. As overrated and overpaid as TY Hilton is, I shouldn't have brought him in to this because Dez takes overrated and overpaid to levels TY can't sniff yet. If I'm Jerry Jones, I ask Dez to do what's best for the organization and take a huge pay cut but with incentives that will pay him as an elite receiver IF he plays as that. If Dez can't do that, I do what is best for the organization and I cut him. I think that its very telling that amidst the struggles and quiet game after quiet game of Dez, the Cowboys have had competent QB play and suggests to me that Dez is "washed up" as they say.
