If Pat Shurmur is hired for a head coaching position this offseason, he could attempt to bring Case Keenum with him as quarterback.
Keenum will be a free agent and he's played well starting for the Minnesota Vikings.
Shurmur and Keenum have developed a close working relationship in which the two men "both think very highly of each other," according to one source.
Shurmur has received interest from the Cardinals, Bears, Lions and Giants.
Shurmur has been Minnesota's offensive coordinator since November 2016, when he was promoted to replace Norv Turner.
