The NFL is seeking to make kickoffs safer and owners will vote on several significant changes at meetings this month.

Rich McKay said the changes would make kickoffs "much more of a punt play," according to a report.

The NFL seeks to reduce the space and speed of the collisions on kickoffs, which produced 71 concussions between 2015-17.

Just do away with kickoffs already. Everyone knows that's where the league is heading, so why not just get it over with instead of taking theses incremental steps towards abolishing it? We all know that's where it's going to wind up, so spare us the BS and just do it. We'll adjust.
