James Conner left the fourth quarter of Thursday\'s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers after suffering a concussion.
Mike Tomlin said afterward that Conner is in the concussion protocol.
The running back was examined on the sideline during the third quarter after taking a hit. He later returned to the game before leaving for the locker room early in the fourth quarter.
